Jim– Your day has come… actually, it's been here for some time. You can move up to that superior platform (AmigaDos) without having ANY learning curve, or need to lose any of that software you love. The Amiga, outfitted with an AMAX emulator, will run all of your applications (in most cases, faster than a stock MAC). And the AMAX isn't priced the way most MAC peripherals are… it'a about $150 for the board and software… you just add MAC roms and a mac drive. Want to have some fun?… go ahead and buy a used 2000 and outfit with Amax, and at the same time, start to get to know the Amiga from a real upfront and personal perspective.
