George, The Sony has a nice clean look and although technically not a flat screen monitor, the triniton tube is inherently flat, just not perfectly square at the top and bottom. The color black on this monitor is BLACK. One of our local BBS's has color and the red lettering is almost three dimensional against the black screen. I believe the dot pitch is .25 one of the best. The screen display size adjusts nicely to the various WB 2.0 modes using the Commodore flicker fixer on a 3000. This monitor was only about $60.00 more than the Commodore multisync and the dealer had one in stock when I picked up my 3000. I asked about an alternative monitor and this was what he had. My other choices were either the NEC 3D or the Commodore multisync. ———————————————-Don- via Whap!
