MAKEIFL
Jamie, I figured out what MAKEIFL is for. I had created a series of GIF
files from some digitizing, (rotoscoping) and if you do not specify the
file extension, and use "FILENAME*.GIF" the saved file(s) will be
incremently numbered, as "FILENAME00001.GIF", "FILENAME00002.GIF", ECT.
I needed to take these files and map them onto a 3DS object and have them
be incremently mapped as each keyframe was rendered. By using "MAKEIFL" I
was able to create a .IFL file that contained all the numbered files.
Taking this IFL file and putting into the Materials editor and creating a
material, enabled me to take this new material and texture map it onto the
object.
The IFL file increments through the saved GIFS and now you can create a
animated, texture map. This process allows the user to create two or more
animated texture maps at the same time.
Thank you for you contribution!

Steve
