I use the NEC Pinwriter driver for my 1124, it works great! (and supports 360X360 resolution) I'd suspect your problem is probably some corrupt file in your DEVS directory, though it's kind of wierd the the FX drive would work, unless its actually the printer driver thats corrupt. I'd try making a new Workbench disk from your originals, or by recopying your DEVS directory to your hard drive, if you have one. If that doesn't work could you describe the GURU better.
