OK So I have turned off last-image-save parameter. Now when I do a render to GIF file at 4096×4096 resolution everything seems to work fine, for the first hour, but no file is created (I didn't see what happened, there was no error me) and I am returned to the 3d Editor. Does the Phar Lap swap file setting need to increase? Will it use all available space automatically? Should I fill my motherboard with ram (64Mb max 16 now)? Incidentally, I thought that GIF files didn't support 24 Bit color and were always compressed (if you choose GIF from 3dstudio menu you can't click compressed off). I appreciate any help on this subject. Jon
