I have been reading your messages with autodesk regarding their animation
player I and many others have been having the similar problems. if you are
going to strictly use the mci function to play animations you will only be
able to get it to run at 320×200 in the center of the screen. the
scripting files do not work. It is a major problem and is hampering the
use of some sophisticated graphics and interactivity. My company HamCoor
has been try to get around this problem for some time as is some of the
larger authoring companies. In particparticular, Aimtech(makers of icon
author) and authorware Professional. If you use the dll their are many
limitations. A sample of what you may be looking for is in the multimedia
vedors forum go multiven in the author ware professional files folder under
something like animation player. I have also been working with iconauthor
to get this solved. It would be a MAJOR breakthrough in windows
interactive multimedia if a interactive full screen (or partial screen)
driver could be written. I have one of my programmers currently working on
this. I would love to get anyother programmers and autodesk involved to
solve this.
