#Nautilus Problem!

Thanks so much Paul for your efforts. I will now try and do what you advise. Since my last note have come to the conclusion that there is some problem with the "interrupts". On my 386 setup, I note that IRQ7 is allocated to "printer". Although I loaded the SoundBlaster card with IRQ7 (Default), it loaded OK. It aslo works to a limited extent. However, from time to time I get that dratted "Memory Parity Error" message. I will open computer, pull the SB. card and alter to IRQ5 – which is free as far as I can see. Will then alter line in Autoexec.bat to read I5 (not I7). Last will alter the line in the Windows system.ini file to read int=5 (presently int=7). After all that…. will boot up and – looking to the Eastern sky…. pray quite heavily! PS. So far Paul, you are the EXPERT… me the NOVICE! Regards…….. Hilary.
