Thanks Michele, I gotta run down to Radio Shack and pick up a couple of the BNC to Phono Adapters. I've still got about 1,000 feet of RG-6 left over from another wireing project I did, got the crimper and rca-f connectors so cables are no problem. I also just ordered a Panasonic 2083 20" monitor ($352.00 nothing fancy) to use with the setup…should be here in two days as its coming out of Chicago. I'd planned on working with the card today but……… had to try to make a living and did some Q&A with the local NBC affiliate Engineer/Art Director. Soooo Much for this afternoon.<g> I think I got this pretty much figured out so tommorrow I'll pop open the Box and try to get things going. After that I'm gonna be a real pest <g> You know things like.. do Ya happen to have any real neat scripts I could borrow and questions about laying sound dubs in…little stuff like that. BTW I just took a 3/4" copy of the old 92' Siggraph tape, had the engineer bump it up to BetaSP and cut me a regular SVHS copy with a window burn so we could put together a 30 second spot. After looking at the quality on the SVHS copy first generation off the BetaSP I'm really impressed with the difference. Almost makes Ya' wanna go out and spend $35,000. Just to impress your friends,<BG> SIGH!!!! Guess I better get back to reality with the Magni…Gotta Walk before I can Fly- – – – I guess- – – <g>. You wouldn't happen to know of anyone that's got a low-time AG-7750 they're willing to part with for a reasonable amount of money would you? I was going to pick up two AG1970's and an AGA96 to do Low End S-VHS Edits and HD Audio Dubs but after looking at the SVHS taken from the BetaSP I'm convinced I won't be happy starting out with anything less than the AG7750, problem is….Yup!! CASH!!. I can't really afford to Max out all my plastic this late in the year so I gotta go for the Deals and grow slow. The business has been picking up nicely though so if the current trend continues I'll be looking at Mooooore Hardware. Thanks Michele….Oh Ya' I called/talked to Bret at Pyros and their supposed to be giving me a call back about your books. Deceided I gotta have those too. Ever Have one of those months where you consistantly overspend your projected income? Uh-Hugh!…Well…Maybe its sorta been more like one of those decades. Seems to coincide with my involvement in this part of the Industry…Hmmmmmmm. Thanks again Michele….I'll let you know how it's going..hope your Tour De Force on the Continent is going great for you.
