Your dealer gave you bad advice (IMO). Don't walk, RUN and get at least
the 2.04 OS, if not 2.1. If you are concerned about 1.3 compatability for
the sake of gaming (only older or poorly written games will crash under
2.x) then also get a ROM switcher that allows you to have both the 1.3
_and_ 2.x roms installed, and choose between them.
