Did you have an ATI Ultra? I had the same problem until I did the
following:
1) in the 3DS.SET file, set the materials editor for RCPADI (make sure the
semi-colon is gone)
2) delete the 3ds.cfg file
3) reconfigure the system
That cleared it up with my system.
I still get a reboot of the system when I try to view an .FLI file while the
VVESA.COM is loaded though.
