I think you'll find that Superbase is now having MAJOR problems against Microsoft's Access for Windows, Microsoft's FoxPro for Windows, and Borland's Paradox for Windows. Lotus is about to jump in the pool too, having recently purchased the company that makes the award winning Approach database for Windows. PC software is also pretty cheap here in the U.S. Many of the big name packages can be had at their "upgrade" prices without any proof of owning a prior version (they might ask if you've HEARD of the package before <g>!). I paid $84 for Access, and a friend got Lotus AmiPro (killer wordprocessor) and Lotus Improv spreadsheet for about $90 each. I don't know what kind of cause and effect relationship there is due to the MASSIVE amounts of piracy that goes on in Europe (far worse than the U.S, according to SPA). Paul.
