Now add these realities to the game. The RGB image needs to be converted to
CMYK. That makes the 22 meg image 29 megs. Five times 29 megs is 144 megs of
needed system ram! And that's just for one 8 x 10 image at 150 lpi. Magazines
are going to 175 and 200 line halftones almost routinely now. An 8 x 10, 175
line halftone in full color results in a file of 40 megs.
