just caught your thread. to avoid the dreaded "out of ram" messages on huge plot/prints I use RenderPrint (from Insight Development). It works with most of the standard image formats and outputs to most every printer/plotter around. We use it to send huge .tga files to an hp650c, with great results. for the small price of renderprint (2-1/2 franklins) it really does a nice job. of course, you need the output device… see ya
