I'm looking to get a copy of 3DS. Is the version you have an
educational version or a commercial license? I'm looking for a copy
that I can get upgrades for. What kind of offers are you looking for
or have gotten?
I'm kinda waiting till SIGGRAPH to see what Autodesk/Yost has
involving new versions, so I may just wait to get a newer version
since upgrades are usually $500. I haven't checked prices with my
local dealer yet since I was going to purchase a educational version
until I found out you couldn't upgrade.
