Laurie,
There is a PC versioin of the PAR. If it is the same as the Amiga version
(except for the bus) it supports output in NTSC, S-VHS, Betacam and MII.
You could use an Amiga/PAR setup to take targa output from a PC and
transfer it to tape. I'd connect a Bernoulli Box (or some other external
removable hard disk) to the PC, format the cartridge under DOS and dump
the targa frames to the Bernoulli. Then connect the Bernoulli to the
Amiga and have Adpro (or some other image processing prog) read each targa
frame, convert it to iff24, and write it to the PAR. Note that you need
CrossDOS to read the DOS formatted Bernoulli from the Amiga.
The half gig Seagate hard disks are supposed hold 3 to 5 minutes of video.
I cannot confirm these numbers as I have never filled up my hard disk
completely. You are probably better off getting one of the Micropolis
hard disks, they are bigger and faster.
