Kenny, Your questions are good ones that we've addressed several times on this forum. Basically there seem to be different definitions of what a "hybrid" CD is, that is a disc that can be read on multiple systems. The most common hybrid is a Mac/PC hybrid however our company has made 5 way hybrids before. CDs are based on a standard, ISO9660 which is readable on any machine but you loose many of the features unique to the Mac. Some of the users of this forum come from a PC background and can't understand why users want their Mac to actually _act_ like a Mac so they say they have hybrid software but several Mac features are missing such as autolaunching applications or placement of files on the desktop. There are a few packages out there that make what I call "true hybrids". Which is best is mostly a matter of personal choice. They all require the disc to be made from a Macintosh system. Hybrid software is something of a buyer beware market with a lot of promises and it's up to the user to figure out what actually works and how well it works. You'll probably make a few duds before you figure out which package and how to run it. Check return policy on the products before you try them out. Another option would be for you to send the data to a service bureau like ours and have us combine your Mac and PC data to a hybrid disc. Let me know if you're interested.
