Thanks, I am confused. You indicate that only 25 MB of hard disk is used no matter what size session we write. This doesn't make sense, unless you simply "point" to the files elsewhere, which I think you must not do. Our need is very simple: Copy about 650 megabytes of files to your "virtual volume" and then do a burn. We want one burn only, one session only, and then we are done and want to erase everything and move onto the next disk. Over and over: 50 times a day. I assume that even if our files exist on our hard drive, that there will be the time and overhead to copy them from the hard disk to your special file on the hard disk. That looks to be to be about a 10-minute process. (Plus the time to delete them on our hard disk and in your partition after the burn.) Am I correct about all of this? (Disk storage is not a great problem, we have gigabytes kicking around on any of our systems.)
