Thanks for the information. I'll check. The panasonic is a "563" I think.
Doesn't using a "proven reliable" drive somewhat defeat the utility of CD-R
disks? I mean, what good are they if they only work sometimes. It may be the
fault of the drive manufacturers, but that doesn't matter in the real world.
Customers don't care. They just point at all of the other disks that they
have that do work.
