In big issue is system configuration. With the Yamaha you will need a system that can feed the data at 4X in to a 640K buffer. With the Kodak you start with a 2MB buffer can expand to 32MB. So price is not just recorder price.>>> Actually the CDR 100 has a 512k buffer. I agree that the price includes everything you might get stuck buying with the recorder. ie you have just bought a nice new p90 system with a 1gig IDE drive and with the PCD 225, CDD 522 or Plasmon RF 4102 you don't need to add a new HD but with the CDR 100 you will be stuck buying a new HD that you may or may not need.
