Paul, In response to your post, the cost of the ASL is currently being reevaluated by the different country offices. This doesn't guarantee a change, but it does make sure they are aware of exactly what the ASL is and how much we charge for it in the U.S. Country offices have discretion in setting the prices. Unless you are under a deadline for a project, I would suggest waiting a short time and then talking to the country office again. They may have made some change by then. (Of course, they may not.) -Brian
