Yo Laurie,
>> _course_ it's a perfect description… <<
Yeah well, I was just checking… wanted to be sure it was documented before I
went about using it. People are awful sticklers for correct terminology… you
know. <G>
Agent Tween sounds like a rather seductive character… Agent Phong however
sounds rather shady… which do you prefer? 🙂 Why would you want to play
opposite Dan "Full Straight Jacket" Qail? <G> You need a dashing leading man
with bravado… fearless, and at least a sense of humor. <g> Hey don't look at
me, I much prefer being behind the camera… I'll direct, how's that, you could
do worse. <G>
>> I wish I'd had access to something like this a few years ago when I was in
the video industry…. <<
Really…? What would you have done with it? Why did you get out of it?
>> I'm being to become suspicious of the BIOS in my current machine, as well as
the video card… <<
Hmmm have they been up to something? Maybe the MBO BIOS doesn't like the
Display Bios… or maybe the MBO Bios moved the display Bios and the display is
sqwaking about it… its kinda hard to tell… but I'd agree that a Pentium is
a pretty necessary system if you're going to get into this at any serious
level…
>> What is the difference between FLI and FLC… <<
FLI files follow the Ani Pro original standard 320×240 at 256 colors. FLC files
are resolutions above that… yes there are several programs that can play flc
files including a bunch of shareware screen savers… you can find them in the
libraries…
The SMK files I think have to do with the Virtual Reality SMK program, which
allows you to render real time and build things for VR games etc. That's a
different product but it does have some working relation to 3DS in that it can
import and export 3DS files…
>> half a million people on the streets to fete it to the Royal New Zealand
Yacht Squadron… <<
I'm sure that was really something, very exciting… I think that's the problem
here, people don't get much excited about it, and its seen as a rather upper
class sport which makes corporate sponsors shy away from more financial
contributing… its too bad really… but I'm sure it'll be good for New
Zealand and you'll get alot of tourism from it… (which was probably the idea
in the first place… <g>) Course you are a country of serious sailors, that
and the willingness to go for it… won the day… for sure.
>> My own yacht is marina-ed just a few miles …. <<
Now I know that "marina-ed" is not a nautical term… and it just wouldn't do
for a sailor to use such an expression… how about "moored"? <G>
>> The one with the megaphone will be me. <<
I have no doubt. 🙂
Well say hello to Tink, and Peter and especially Ms. M. You can tell her "no
worries", chivalry is not dead… be nice if the favor was returned but I won't
hold my breath. 🙂
Regards,
John
