>> When 3DS is on NT (slow, boring and hardware intensive) I suspect this
feature will be builtin… Oh well I'll be able to "cut-n-paste" my 32 bit
targa into word! – Go figure! <<
I've heard the water in the tub "downunder" spins in a clockwise direction as
well… <g>
This is my attempt at humor, because contrary to your observations about NT, I
find it blistering fast, and exciting…. though I have to agree it is quite
RAM intensive… but for instance the DX-2 Server is much faster under NT than
DOS/Win… the Pentiums are so fast to begin with I'm not sure but they do seem
to run as if there getting a fresh supply of oxygen. I have heard that with
mutiple apps open they can really bog down… but so far that hasn't been the
case for me… (though I do trust that this is true as I have no reason to
disbelieve the source on this…)
With regard to "cut-n-paste" you can do that presently in Win 3.1 but from
everything I've been able to track down on this point, in NT the Targa won't
have this global feature but will be application dependent… if you know
different I'd sure like to follow up on it…
So I guess it follows that at the equator the water runs in neither direction
but straight down… <G>
