We're using the ASL to play flic files within a Window. Although I'm able to play a small, borderless flic on top of a window with a bitmap displayed in it, there seems to be a conflict of palettes. When the file begins playing, there is a palette shift in the surrounding screen, which is righted when the flic finishes. (looks like I'm getting an repaint message in there) It looks awful. So, I'm wondering if there is a way to make sure the flic is using the same palette as my bitmap. I believe they have the same palette — the artist is very good about that — so perhaps it is something the player is doing with the palette. Has anyone experienced a problem like this, and if so, how was it fixed? Thanks for the help, Barb
