I spent all week trying to get the goods from DPS and IN-SYNC and the good news
is the NT version will allow direct backups, the bad news is it's going to be a
while before we see it. DPS confirmed that the current Perception software (Win
3.1) will not allow DOS drive emulation.
As for the problem you mentioned about skipped frames DPS assured me there
would be no "patches" or bug fixes for the Win 3.1 version.
I'm sure things will sort themselves out but in the meantime I'm a bit miffed!
and very sorry I sold my PAR/Razor Pro setup as now I can't get my work done.
