FLC Palettes in Windows

Barb, I would doubt the two have the same palettes. They should not flash if they do. Also, because you're in Windows you need to make sure that you're using an actual "windows" palette. For a standard 256 color palette the first 10 and last 10 entries need to be unused by your images. Animator Pro can be used for making both a custom palette and Windows palettes. Once you have a palette created, you squeeze it to 236 colors. After that, you need something like Paledit or Bitedit (not sure) to create a windows identity palette. After that you'll need to apply this palette to all of your images and animations. At least we have to using MM Toolbook. I would hope there are packages which allow specifying a single pallete and then just having everything use that palette. If you need it, there's a file up here on CS called Pal tools that will batch apply a palette to a group of images. We use it at work and it works great. It requires both Bitedit and Paledit though. I think those two apps come with ToolBook. You can find Pal tools by searching on the keyword palette in IBMFF. It's not in the libraries here. If you need any more help let me know. DM
