I am amazed at the favorable response to my editorial from AutoCAD dealers,
but I guess it makes sense. From what I am hearing, dealers are not really
making any money selling AutoCAD at its present price because they are
having to discount it so deeply. So, mass marketing it does make sense. At
the same time, the dealers have indeed become consultants.
Thanks for your well thought out additions to my arguments. I'd like to draw
upon them for future editorials, if I may.
