Phil, I think it's definitely an idea worth pursuing. If I could make a suggestion, why don't you write up your article, then EasyPlex it to me. I'll run it through my filters, then pass it on to the powers that be. As long as you're willing to do the work on spec (with there being a chance that you won't be printed), I'd say go for it! When you write the article, be sure to generalize it as much as possible. In other words, talk about the DX7 specifically, but use it as an EXAMPLE of how to do it… make sure the reader is aware that a similar technique can be used on any patch/synth/editor. If you can, outline the approach you used/they would use to determine how to perform a similar operation for other combinations. I'm looking forward to reading your work! Rick
