Larry,
A light pen is used with a graphic display of some kind. A PDP-11/53 is
a general-purpose computer, to which a variety of types of displays can be
attached. Most displays attached to PDP-11s in the real world are
text-only, and there are no light pens to accompany these.
If your machine has a real graphic display, it is possible that a light
pen is available for it. The primary source of information would be the
vendor of the display, but if you can identify the manufacturer and model
number it is possible someone here would have a suggestion.
