Rotoscoping
Steve, I just got around to trying to do some rotoscoping. I had saved
your description from the 23rd of June. Everything seems to work pretty
well, except when the deck should go get the TGA, I get a DOS prompt
superimposed on my keyframe screen saying I should contact my dealer to buy
the capture option. Do you have any idea what this is all about, and would
this be my Targa dealer or my Diaquest dealer? I'm using a Sony EVO9650.
I do have Action Animator software. I am also using a Targa+ 16/32. I'm
running my Sony deck with my DQ422 board and a 9 pin to 24 pin adapter
cable. Everything else seems to be working ok. I've scoured Diaquest's
manual and pricing information for any mention of a capture option. The
only example I could find was in the error code section. Of course, no
explanation. Groan. This country doesn't need better math and science
teachers, what it needs is better technical writers <g>.
