Chris,
It appears that the dropping back of the X&Y postscript positions only
effects PICA and Points. The value will not change if you have inches or CM
as your measurement system.
This would effect output to a desktop printer, but I am surprised you must
use 1pica5 as an offset…that is a larger amount. The only time I specify
an offset is if I use the manual feed on my printer and not the paper bin.
The NEC-890 paper path has a difference of about 2-3 points difference
between the two feed methods.
It should not be so apparent when going to lino…normally such a large
area is provided for the OutPut page size and the reg/crop marks are
relative to the page regardless of offset.
It has now been reported.
