But Michael, If you followed Don's logic <and implication> it *doesn't matter* a whit how many telephone books are in those landfills; they aren't a problem in the first place, and in the second place they *do* biodegrade in a "reasonable" time…. I'm not quite sure just how successful the phone company would be putting that information on electronic media only…I did notice a fair amount of telephone book recycling going on the last time the phone company issued new editions around here. Now if only you could get most people to recycle most of their phone books… .. Tim Trompeter…
