New Amiga program needs?

I am coming into the middle of this, so I must have missed something. It seems to me that with TurboText, FinalCopy, and ProWrite—we have MANY fine HOME level word processors for things like letters and short stories. Unless you plan to be MUCH cheaper. I think there is some sort of document format that WORD uses internally. You can get the standard from them. If your program had the option to save in that format so that files created with it could be loaded into WORD (and vice versa—not reading WORD format but the RTF or whatever oit is called that WORD can also save) then we would have something nice, because we could work at home and then bring the files into something that DID have the "power" features if needed.
