Marc – Continuing on my first message to you in this thread and to what you have added to it. There are lower end programs for the home user and first time users. There are also PD programs that work quite well for the truely budget minded. And C= has already adopted a few of these. (ie. KindWords) Also keep in mind that much of C='s sales these days are not to FirstTime, home users (Those folks are buying MSdos systems). Amiga sales are coming from the more specific markets – Video, DeskTop Publishing, and other VAR setups. C= is even backing away from marketing to home users and instead concentrating their efforts towards the narrow market niche's (Sp?). If I were you – I concentrate my efforts towards developing products for the established Amiga user. The advice given earlier about Business applications was good advice. A good Accounting program is really needed. Think about all those Amiga's already out there – they already have WP's, and they are being used by experienced users in specific applications and what none of them have is a good accounting program. Even a good Home accounting program – aka "Phazar". In short I would consider the established user base first (well over 3 million) before thinking about the new user base.
