I think this works program is a good idea! Cost is a major problem with people that have just bought a new computer, not to mention a "works" style program is VERY attractive to first time computer users! The thing I would suggest is that your program supports the system clipboard, not enough programs do, and it would let anyone who has your program to add more powerful applications later and be able to cut and paste between them. AREXX would be valuable to you also in that it would give you a built in scripting (macro) language that would make your program more powerful without the need of writing a scripting language for yourself. Add ons would be much easier also. p.s. I know what you mean about the cost, I started out with my 500 and (all used) a monochrome monitor, then a composite color monitor, then I moved up to a 16 color CGA monitor (which is what I still have today!) The rest of my 500 is "expanded" but I haven't been able to justify $340 for a new monitor and haven't been able to find a used one yet! Bob Comer – also from Wyoming – via Whap!
