Heh, money? What money? The AST system seems quite reasonable *when* you consider the capabilities of the system. A comparison shows the AST to provide more bang for the buck…I want a server that could get us through the next 4 years (Clinton pres.) if our budget gets cut. The AST seems to be the best bet for service, reliability, upgradability, and on.on.on. PLUS, if management really had to go to OS/2, they could do it with the AST ..the Manhatten can handle OS/2. I really don't see that, though. I mean, when it comes down to making the customer happy, you can't do that with a Network Operating System that isn't 100% desinged for connectivity. Many people will go to the SMP/SQL/NT-AS format I believe. I still haven't seen my copy of the final release…but I did get in kind of late and I was only able to provide a little help in diagnosing problems. Bill There is 1 Reply.
