Good suggestion. I can think of a flaw, though. What about the folks that want
to get certified, but aren't currently teaching? Also, it would seem you would
need a minimum of student responses for the results to be "statistically
reliable". In other words, if I teach a class of 4 and have a bad group, this
could drastically effect my rating, but if I do a group of 30, and have the
same 4 "bad apples", but have 26 star pupils, I'm gonna do much better.
I also teach CAD classes at our 2-year school, and my Spring class usually has
about 30-32 students. I consistently average about 8-10% that are
"unreachable". They don't see the reason, don't care, and fail miserably. But,
my ATC people are always attentive and want to learn.
