Steve, Glad to be useful! 8^) Yes, DPaint will let you rotate brushes in 1 degree increments. For 90 degree rotation it is fine however, due to the nature of bit maps, non 90 degree turns can cause the image to get jagged (requiring touchup). She can also wrap the brushes to various shapes, bend and stretch, flip etc. But again, the problem with bit maps is the more you work 'em the more jagged they can get. That's what is nice about draw programs such as ProDraw or ArtExpression, etc they don't get jagged from overworking. It would seem that font support is the same in both DP4 & Personal Paint. PP looks like a good product but I would bet it is missing more than just the animation capabilities but it will likely do the job well. It may have some features that DP4 doesn't. I'd recommend not to worry about AGA until you have to. If you are not planning on getting an AGA system now then the s/w may change by the time you do, anyway. The upgrade for DP4 is $30, I think. I don't know about Haitex. Although I have not used it I suggest you take a look at PageSetter, as I mentioned, because it has a DTP, paint and wordprocessor in one package for the price of a paint program ($129 list). Do a posting, however, because I don't know if it lives up to it's claims. Andrew
