Videomedia (V-LAN) makes a full time business out of testing and writting interfaces for various decks that come on the market. We really don't push one manufacturer over the other but we will not pull any punches on siting the shortcomings of various decks as they pertain to specific applications (such as animation). We are in the process of evaluating the Sanyo deck. Long term reliability does not look good at this point.
