Nothing like a little software flame to warm up those winter months <g>. Actually, it depends on how you use AME. I use it exclusively to build architectural models and find it very usefull. Instead of building the entire project in one, big hard drive stuffing drawing (which I guess is the source of your mammoth files), I think of AME as a kind of machine shop that I can use to craft individual parts for the model, which I the assemble in 3DS.This works fine and I have no complaints about the process, other than I wish 3DS would allow me to use OSNAP like commands so I wouldn't have to use AutoCAD at all. I'm not saying you have to recant and from now on do things in "the only true way" <g>. I'm just saying that there's more than one way to skin a building and people should use the way their most comfortable with while still being open to other methods. <END SERMON> Bruce Meikle
