There's a couple of ways, Al, just off the top of my head. First, you could
morph both objects to a somewhat similar shape, and do a cross-fade between the
two in Video Post (or even morph them in a 2D morph program). Second,
Spherify.PXP, which comes on the Yost Groups' IPAS disk #2 Special Effects,
will let you morph any object to a sphere, and you can cross-fade or cut
between the two. You could always take the object with fewer vertices,
tesselate to get close, and then add some arbitrarily to make them equal,
although the outcome of this can REALLY be hard to predict!
