"What will you do for the JVC non control L." The JVC "swap" editing port is used, which several of the MediaPhile interfaces can link up to. For instance, the MP2.0S with control-L inputs also supports infrared, JVC and other connections. The IR outputs on this, however, are not time-accurate enough to control play decks for near-frame accuracy, nor do the control-L send commands to the play decks (they only read timecode). So the extra IR interfaces are required. -Chris
