The point that needs clarification here is…
The layers between the Pre-cambrian and up to the top of the Cretaceous
were built up around the world at the same time in similar thickness layers.
There are volcanic flows and ash layers and other variables.
The total crust has built up from the Pre-cambrian miles thick. This build up
could not occur if the material was moving around from one place to another.
You see the problem? building up everywhere at the same time…..
It could not have come from earth, not and built up in layers of similar depth
world wide. There are also worldwide (markers) like the iridium layer between
the cretaceous and the paleocene.
The catastrophe came at the top of the cretaceous layer.
