"Also, why is there no way to insert video on this vdeck." You also can't perform video inserts with the EV-S7000; If you insert any video, all audio tracks will be overwritten. Are the PCM audio tracks _really_ helical? I'm editing to SVHS. This gives me a little more freedom in A/V inserts. If audio is more important (a music video, say) you can lay down the musin on the mono track, insert edit all of the video, and then check how well the two are sync'ed; You can make adjustments in the EDL from there. Then, while making copies to VHS, you can use HiFi stereo by starting your audio source at a certain SMPTE address. -Chris
