I have been looking into why I am running out of memory. I find that the phone book and calendar use alot of user memory in windows. These are two programs I like to have loaded at all times. Following is a small table I made using the MS sysmeter program (It is old but I do think it tells the truth). Program User Graphics DTS Book 16% 5% DTS Calendar 16% 5% MS Word 11% 11% Corel Draw 8% 6% MS Publisher 6% 8% MS Access 6% 6% MS Excel 32% 18% MS File Manager 6% 3% MS Print Manager1% 3% 32% of user space that starts at 74% available is a lot of overhead for my system. I find that some times I can only load 1 program at a time. Could you please look into this for the next release. I feel that a program that is designed to remain active during a Windows session should use as little resources as possible. Please don't get me wrong I am not complaining. I would like to have a more frendly program in the future. I am not changeing or running away. I might have to unload book and calendar from time to time to get work done though. Thank you.
