Just wanted you to know that I recently set up a PVR on a P-90/32Meg Ram with
a Microp 9.1 Gig and had what appears to be the same problem. When importing
targa files from the local hard drive had a 157 frame limit. When importing
over our network we did not have the limit. After several days of head
banging, which all too often translates to computer bashing, we attempted an
import again and the problem no longer exists.
The problem here is that I cannot tell you exactly what we did to correct the
problem. We changed graphics cards from ATI Mach 64 to Imagine 128, changed
Simms, and worked with autoexec.bat and config.sys settings. There are also
some codec settings and import settings in the DPS software we changed. Now
everything works, including all device drivers in memory.
We were working on a different problem at the time and sort of stumbled across
the fix. Over the weekend I will try to backtrack and see if I can narrow it
down. I was told DPS was not aware of the problem as of about 5 days ago.
Hopefully we can come up with a solution for you!
