I already got my upgrade, but I'm behind you poor guys 100%!! I think that it was _very_ unprofessional to weasel out on their upgrade offer without any prior warning. While I understand that this might garner them a _few_ extra dollars in the short run, they will be hurting what little remains of their standing in this community. (Even ignoring the fact that some users might not buy the upgrade _at all_ at the new price, they do stand to earn more cash from immediate sales.) I just got back from demoing LW on the SGI for three days, and several people expressed their comtempt of this 'new pricing policy'. Many of them felt that the upgrade price would be available up until the damn thing shipped, at least!
