Chuck, Thanks for the explanation. I certainly do not blame you but I think you are dead right not to trust what you are told. Incidently I bought my LW3.5 software last October and there was no mention of a time limit to the upgrade offer anywhere in the package. Talk about your "customer service" folks operating in a vacuum. I sincerely hope that whoever needs to decide on these things does the right thing and make a once off offer to those folks registered with you to get the upgrade at the quoted price. Maybe you could give us the name of someone high enough up who would appreciate some customer feedback and would be able to make a decision on this issue if I and others care to write officially.
