If you are a partners plus dealer, you should be communicating with dealer sales to be kept up on such issues as recommended drives, etc. and you should certainly have received and reviewed both the weekly newsletter that Sales faxes out to Patrners Plus dealers, and all the same manuals and documentation for your Flyer demo system that customers have (and which informed them of HQ5). The NewTek BBS also has a message area and a file area exclusively for dealers. The number is 913-271-9299. What firmware is on the Quantum 4.0G drive? Rev 576D or F76D is required for the Quantum Atlas 2G XP32150L (which will support HQ5 over the entire surface of the drive) or Atlas 4G XP34300 (only HQ5 capable over a portion of the surface — usually about 80%). No other Quantum Models have tested workable. No Micropolis 2G drives have tested as workable with the Flyer as video drives. The point of HQ5 is that it will preserve quality when Standard and EP cannot. Review the file in the NewTek Library here, with the preconference questions from the July online conference, for further discussion on this. I addressed your other questions in my reply to your private mail. Chuck.
