Connie, <Do you think my 2500 will be worth hanging onto and upgrading?> It really depends on what you want to do with it. I've upgraded my A2000 to have an '040 processor, the lastest OS (3.1) two graphics boards, a large harddrive and lots (28 megs) of memory. I find it extremely useful, but my main interests are graphics and telecom. There should be an '060 upgrade available for it soon. <In your opinion, is the Amiga STILL ahead of comparably priced DOS/Windows computers with respect to animation, graphics and video?> Animation and graphics, definitely, video is debateable though Lightwave is now a stand alone product and still works rather well on an accelerated Amiga. <With Amiga World magazine gone, where can I get up to date information about the Amiga and application software?> There is still Amazing Computing and there is also Amiga Computing, which is a UK based magazine that is publishing a NA version (with the correct ads and prices).
