I'll try the droout trick.
Yesterday we shot a personal ducomentary of the record snowfall here
in Louisville. Came home that night to view the tape and it was
nothing but dropout city. The shots were recorded on a CCD-F40 8mm
Sony camcorder but this time, for some reason I used my production
Hi-8 tape. Two things I think caused the dropouts, 1). using
camcorder in -40 weather, 2). heads need to be cleaned or could it be
using Hi-8 tape (don't know why I used this, ((by mistake)) ).
